Journey into Timeless Wonders

tour_curacao2
A knowledgeable guide will lead you through the cave. But in order to reach the entrance of the Hato Cave, you’ll need to walk up 49 steps. This may sound like quite a few steps, but if you go at your own pace, it is actually quite possible. And once upstairs you will be rewarded with a Caribbean breeze and a beautiful panoramic view of the park and the airport runway.

Once inside the cave, the approx. 45 minute tour starts. Your guide will give information on the history and cultural significance of the cave, point to creative formations, stalactites and stalagmites to tell the imaginative stories behind them; some take on shapes and are called the Sea Tortoise, the Sleeping Giant and Mother Teresa. You will also be impressed by a romantic pool and a colony of rare bats hanging from the ceiling and fluttering in one of the cave chambers. Join a tour!

Seven days a week, between 9 am and 3 pm, guided tours every hour on the hour.. The tour could be given in English, Dutch, Spanish, and Papiamento. On cruise dates all tours will be in English. German and Portuguese only on request. Normally no need to make a reservation if the group is smaller than 8 guests, just walk in and we will happy to take you inside the cave.
Want to avoid waiting in line then it is best to make a reservation by WhatsApp tel.5999-5233353.
