A striking tree, with long leaves and knots on the branches. The fruit that grows on this tree can have many shapes: small round, oval, elongated and even as big as a volleyball! The flower and fruit grow immediately on the trunk and in the dry season you can see the green balls hanging in the tree from afar. All kinds of things are made with the fruits, such as maracas.
