At a quick glance, you might mistake this tree for a Shimaruku tree. However, this tree sometimes has long branches with a sharp tip, also known as branch spines. When this large shrub is in bloom, you can hear the bees even before you see the tree. The large clusters of fragrant white flowers are a feast for all nectar eaters.
