Serjania curassavica
This attractive climbing plant, with winged leaf stalks, loves to climb over other plants to reach the sun. The fruit is a red-brown, three-part capsule that hangs on the plant like a bunch of paper lanterns. During the dry season, you can only see the stems of this plant hanging like threads in the trees. The term “curassavica” refers to CuraƧao.
